Diamonds with no or few blemishes are more valuable than those with a lower clarity grade because of their rarity. Although flawless diamonds are the rarest, a diamond need not be perfect to be beautiful. Diamonds with VS and VVS clarity are excellent choices in terms of price and appearance. The more affordable diamonds, known as “eye-clean” diamonds, don’t have any inclusions that can be seen with the naked eye.
